This art series explores an earthen palette with pigments foraged from the land, expressed on raw canvas. Hand ground hues from rocks and clay found by the rivers and coast in Oregon or charcoal from local wildfires have been incorporated into unique acrylic mediums. I also collected black walnuts, acorns and oak galls from the land and brewed them into one of a kind inks. My intent is to explore a deep connection between art and the earth itself, highlighting the vibrant hues found in nature.
All art is signed on the back and comes ready to hang. A UV-protective matte varnish has been applied to protect against yellowing and dust.
